Terms of Service
Welcome to Roll. By installing or using the app, you agree to these terms. They're short on purpose. If something is unclear, email royogev2@gmail.com.
Use of the app
Roll is provided for personal, non-commercial use: merging photos and videos with friends who are physically near you, over local radio, with no accounts and no cloud. You can use it on any device you own and in any country where the app is available.
You agree not to:
- Reverse-engineer or decompile the app.
- Use Roll to share content that is unlawful, infringing, or that you don't have the right to share.
- Attempt to interfere with or disrupt the peer-to-peer transfer for other users.
Your content
The photos and videos you share are sent directly to the friends you connect with in a session — Roll has no server that stores or hosts your content, and there is no public feed, profile, or comment surface. You are responsible for the content you choose to share and for sharing it only with people you intend to. Treat others' shared photos with the same care you'd want for your own.
Subscriptions
If a paid tier (Roll Pro) is offered, it is sold as an auto-renewing subscription through the App Store. Billing, refunds, and cancellation are governed by Apple's App Store rules. You can cancel any time from your App Store account and keep access until the end of the paid period.
No warranty
The app is provided "as is." I do my best to keep it working, but I can't guarantee it will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that every transfer will succeed in every radio environment. You use the app at your own risk, and you remain responsible for keeping your own backups of photos that matter to you.
Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, my liability for any claim related to the app is limited to the amount you paid for Roll in the 12 months before the claim. I am not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including lost or unsaved photos.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Israel. Disputes that cannot be resolved by email will be brought before the competent courts of Tel Aviv, Israel.
Changes
I may update these terms occasionally. The effective date at the top will change when I do.
